Restaurant owner Arfan Razak (better known as Raz) is the brainchild behind Curry Lounge Ltd, and has set up a franchise venture that reaches as far afield as North America and the Middle East.

Having opened the first Curry Lounge in Nottingham in February 2007, the brand has gone from strength-to-strength at a phenomenal rate. Since the appearance of the restaurant on Gordon Ramsay's hit Channel 4 show in December 2007, the brand has instantly become recognisable all over the world.
